This Privacy Policy explains how Adhyatma Prachara Sevashramam, Rayadurgam ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use tattvajignasa.in and its associated services (the "Service"). We are committed to handling your data responsibly and to the minimum extent necessary to provide and improve the Service.

2. How We Use Your Information
- To deliver Vedānta-related responses, citations, and audio narration.
- To improve retrieval quality and diagnose model or system errors (using anonymised samples).
- To detect abuse, prevent fraud, and enforce our Terms & Conditions.
- To process donations through Razorpay and acknowledge contributions.
- To respond to your support, correction, or grievance requests.
3. Third-Party Services
To operate the Service, we share necessary data with the following categories of third parties:
- Hosting & infrastructure — Railway, Vercel, and a self-hosted VPS in India for backend operations.
- AI gateways — OpenAI-compatible model providers used to generate responses from your query. Queries are transmitted in real time and are not used by us to train third-party models.
- Payment gateway — Razorpay Software Pvt. Ltd. processes voluntary donations. Razorpay's own privacy practices apply to data submitted on its payment page; please refer to razorpay.com/privacy.
- Analytics — We use only minimal, privacy-respecting counters (e.g. concurrent-online count). No advertising trackers are deployed.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
4. Data Retention
- Query logs: retained for up to 90 days for diagnostics, then aggregated or deleted.
- Donation records: retained for the period required by Indian financial and tax law (typically 7 years).
- Local chat history: remains on your device until you clear it (Settings → New Chat or browser storage clear).
5. Security
We protect data in transit using HTTPS/TLS, restrict server access on a need-to-know basis, and follow industry-standard practices for credentials and key management. However, no internet-based system is perfectly secure; you use the Service at your own risk.
6. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
7. Your Rights
Subject to applicable law (including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023), you have the right to:
- Request access to the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your data (subject to legal-retention obligations).
- Withdraw consent for processing where consent is the legal basis.
- File a grievance with our Grievance Officer (see below) or with the Data Protection Board of India.
