These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website tattvajignasa.in and its associated services (collectively, the "Service"), operated by Adhyatma Prachara Sevashramam, Rayadurgam ("we", "us", "our", or the "Organisation"). By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. About Tattvajignasa

Tattvajignasa is a not-for-profit, AI-assisted study platform dedicated to the dissemination of Advaita Vedānta as expounded by Śrī Śaṅkarācārya and clarified by Śrī Sacchidānandendra Sarasvatī Swāmījī. The Service provides users with conversational responses grounded in the Bhāṣya literature and the works of the Swāmījī, along with citations, audio narration, and related study tools.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service. By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

3. Use of the Service

• You may use the Service only for lawful, personal, educational, and devotional purposes.
• You agree not to misuse the Service, including (without limitation): scraping or bulk-harvesting content, attempting to disrupt or reverse-engineer the platform, transmitting unlawful or harmful content, or impersonating others.
• We reserve the right to rate-limit, throttle, suspend, or terminate access without prior notice for users who violate these Terms.

4. AI-Generated Content & Accuracy

Responses produced by Tattvajignasa are generated by a Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) system that consults a curated corpus of Bhāṣya texts and the Swāmījī's writings. While we take every care to ground answers in authentic sources and to cite passages, AI systems can occasionally err, summarise incorrectly, or omit important nuance. Responses are offered for study and contemplation; they are not a substitute for direct study under a qualified teacher or for consulting the primary texts themselves.

5. Intellectual Property

The corpus texts cited (Upaniṣad Bhāṣya, Brahma Sūtra Bhāṣya, Bhagavadgītā Bhāṣya, and the works of Śrī Sacchidānandendra Sarasvatī Swāmījī) are reproduced under the principle of educational fair use and devotional dissemination. All rights in the underlying works remain with their respective rights-holders. The Tattvajignasa name, logo, interface design, and software are © Adhyatma Prachara Sevashramam, Rayadurgam.

You may share short excerpts of generated responses for personal, non-commercial, devotional purposes provided you credit "Tattvajignasa — tattvajignasa.in". Republication of substantial portions, commercial use, or use to train derivative AI models is not permitted without prior written consent.

6. Donations & Payments

The Service is offered free of charge. Users who wish to support the project's hosting, infrastructure, and the ongoing translation work of Shankara Vedanta Granthamala may make voluntary donations via UPI, bank transfer, or the payment gateway (Razorpay) integrated on the site. Donations are voluntary, non-refundable except as set out in our Refund Policy, and do not entitle the donor to any commercial benefit, return, or expectation of paid service.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, complete, or wholly accurate, nor that responses will meet any specific spiritual, scholarly, or educational requirement.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither Adhyatma Prachara Sevashramam, nor its volunteers, contributors, or service providers shall be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service. Our aggregate liability for any direct claim shall not exceed ₹1,000 (Indian Rupees one thousand).

9. Third-Party Services

The Service relies on third-party providers including (but not limited to) hosting infrastructure, large-language-model gateways, payment gateways (Razorpay), and analytics. Your interactions with these third parties are governed by their respective terms. We are not responsible for outages, errors, or data handling by such third parties.

10. Modifications

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates the latest revision. Continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh, India.
